BE DEVOTED TO ONE ANOTHER
IN BROTHERLY LOVE.
HONOR ONE ANOTHER ABOVE YOURSELVES.
(Romans 12:10)
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
(Proverbs 27:17)
The Lord declares… those who honor me I will honor.
(2 Samuel 2:30)

WHO WE ARE:
| |
The Honor Guard
Motorcycle Ministry is a committed group of motorcyclists who
provide friendship, fellowship and support to each other and others.
While the majority of our members are bikers, owning a motorcycle is
NOT a requirement to be a part of this ministry. |
OUR HISTORY:
|
The Honor Guard MM
started in 2001 when a handful of guys from Lake Wylie
Christian Assembly discovered a common interest in riding
motorcycles. As they began riding together, strong friendships
were forged. Slowly at first, additional riders started coming to
the group from LWCA and other churches and places. Soon, over
a dozen men were riding together regularly. After a while, the
group realized the powerful bonds that were being formed and the
potential to expand those bonds of friendship. Verse 10, from
Romans chapter 12 became the Honor Guard creed. From
that verse, devotion to each other in brotherly love and the
instruction to honor others above yourself, birthed our name -
HONOR GUARD. |

When God sees us coming toward him, even in the filthy rags of our lives, He runs TOWARD us and welcomes us as guests of honor. His actions are an invitation to do likewise, 1 Peter 2:17 says to HONOR ALL.
